i-Tech MLS goes live with CARETS data share in Southern California
Simi Valley, Calif. December 16, 2008 – Rapattoni
Corporation announced today that i-Tech MLS, a Rapattoni MLS customer
and a regional MLS involving the Glendale Association of REALTORS® and
the Pasadena Foothill Association of REALTORS® (PFAR), is now
operational with the full CARETS (California
Real Estate Technology Services) residential MLS listing data. This
data covers most of the Los Angeles and Orange County areas and some of
Riverside and San Bernardino Counties in Southern California. CARETS is
a data share cooperative that includes the MLS organizations of MRMLS,
SoCal MLS, CLAW MLS, i-Tech MLS, and CRISNet MLS in Southern California.
All i-Tech's members, for one MLS membership and fee, now have access to
all of the data from those MLS organizations participating in CARETS
using their Rapattoni MLS system.
Rick Stever, i-Tech Administrator, said, "Rapattoni's staff accomplished
the addition of the CARETS data into our listing database so smoothly
that, when we went live, our members hardly noticed. On December 3rd,
they suddenly had hundreds of thousands of additional listings covering
most of Southern California at their disposal." Rick went on to say, "I

Rapattoni did a great job."
