Vice Presidential Nominee

Personal Comments:

Personal Comments: Born and raised in Lodi, I graduated from Lodi High School in 1979. I attended college in Missouri and southern California, where I studied business and marketing. I began my career in 1983 with Schaffer Suess & Boyd Realtors. During my years with the LAR, I have served on numerous committees and I am currently the Chairman of the Program Committee and serve on the Board of Directors. I am also a graduate member of the inaugural Leadership Lodi Class of 1990 and was elected the first President of the Leadership Lodi Alumni Association. I serve on the planning committee and I am a corporate sponsor of the Greater Lodi Leadership Prayer Breakfast. With the Chamber of Commerce I serve on the School Relations Committee.

My personal and business philosophy is to “just take care of people and everything else will take care of itself”. It is because of my desire to take care of people that I am now running for this position, to be your Vice President. During my years with SSB we have been an independent and at times affiliated with Better Homes & Gardens, GMAC, an independent again and now with RE/MAX Gold. I believe that because of my background and experience I am in a unique position to understand the needs of all our members and I have the courage to make necessary decisions to benefit us all.

Please vote for me as your Vice President of the Lodi Association of Realtors.   I

Director Nominee Personal Comments:

Hello to the best realtors in California, the members of the Lodi Association of Realtors. My name is Jim Caughran and I am running for director of the Lodi Association of Realtors. I have been in real estate for just over two year so you might ask how I can be qualified to be a director. This is a business position. As a retired Sr. Engineering program manger I was responsible for budgets up to 10 million dollars and had to deal with people with skills levels from assembler to PHD engineers. And you think that you have seen some egos? I am a member of the greater The Lodi Toastmasters Club, California Association of Realtors Land Use and Environmental Committee; I am also a member of the Grievance Committee for the Lodi Association. I have attended several seminars. Completed the course, and became an e-Pro specialist. I also completed the training and became a certified WinForms trainer. So although I have been in Real Estate for just over two years I have been busy. I attend the marketing meeting almost every week and go on tour to the bitter end.

Below is a list of the 9.5 reasons to vote for me.1. I wear a suit and tie every day.2. I am a member of the Land Use and Environmental Committee. 3. I am a member of the Grievance Committee.4. I have a good sense of humor.5. I go on tour each week.6. I am an e-Pro specialist.7. I am a certified WinForms trainer.8. I have an opinion about every thing, and everybody is welcome to it.9. I am a good looking devil.9.5 I will do the best job that I can do!

Hello there,
My name is Diane Gallagher. I work for Sherman and Associates and love what I do. I have lived in Lodi all my life. I am married and have 2 beautiful girls.
I have watched the community go from very small to where it is today, and what a change it has been. I not only want what is best for Lodi, but for all of us as realtors, in all our communities.
I was Vice-Chairman of the programs committee and that has put a desire to want to learn more, and be available to help in every situation. I look forward to becoming a Director and serving on the board. Thank you in advance for all your support and confidence.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve as one of your LAR directors these past two years. Many changes have occurred during this time, but in these past two years a foundation has been established. I have a greater knowledge of the workings of our organization, the responsibility of a director and the importance of building relationships between our two areas. I had the pleasure of severing as chair person for the second year for our Masters CLUB, which just completed its fourth year.

With nineteen years in our profession I continually strive to make my name synonymous with excellence, service, and honesty...

It is my desire is to serve you for the up coming two years and would appreciate your vote.

I believe that we have a very fine Association.  It has been well lead and our staff is outstanding.  As a result we are weathering a stormy time in our industry.  My desire is to offer my leadership abilities to assist the board in its leadership of our association.  I will bring my knowledge and involvement in our city government and business community.  I will work to expand the influence of our association into the political realm to ensure that our voice is heard concerning matters that affect our industry.  We live in a time where we cannot ignore the pressures, laws and attitudes that are constantly attempting to dictate to us how we practice our profession.
